Fabulous Peruvian restaurant with fantastic ocean views, welcoming staff, wonderful ambiance and yummy food! FYI - HH is indoors only - Weds thru Sun 3pm - 6pm! :0) There is a nice outdoor patio with ocean views and heat lamps for cold evenings, but it was too hot and sunny for me at 3:30pm the other day, so I decided to go inside for the HH menu! I'm glad that I did! I had such a great time talking to some regular locals who come here often for HH and dinner after. Thank You also to Pedro for explaining the artwork and the story of how the restaurant and name arose. I used to go further South to La Costanera in Montara long, long ago for their HH and dinners. While I still miss their old, gorgeous location and their amazing food and drink, I'm glad that I discovered this beautiful, new place that I'll be coming back to often! :0) The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming and the service is friendly, attentive and efficient here. I LOVE the cold, refreshing Pisco Sours and the Ceviche, ESP the Lèche de Tigre "soup"! Just say YUM! I was kind of hungry and thirsty after the gorgeous mini walk/hike across the way, so for HH - I had 3 Pisco Sours, 2 Ceviche's and 1 Jaleita. It worked out perfectly! I wish they put more fish in the Ceviche, but it's still very tasty due to the Lèche de Tigre! YUM! The Jaleita was tasty and it was a nice large portion, but I was bummed that there wasn't much fish or crab that I noticed. The tartar sauce could use a little revamp to add more flavor. I decided to ask for a Hot Sauce (not Tabasco), but this was awful so I landed up just ordering another Tartar sauce. Thank you for the wonderful 1st time visit! I look forward to returning soon and will spread the word about your great restaurant! :0)

I've never had Peruvian food before so it was my first time eating any of the many dishes I ordered. Every single thing tasted amazing. Luckily, they brought out each dish one by one so I could properly enjoy it fully before moving on to the next. In addition to the food being amazing, the service provided by our waitress, Abby, was incredible. She took my shrimp and crab allergy seriously and helped me find items on the menu that would be safe for me to eat. She also was very diligent in writing notes to the kitchen staff about my allergy so I didn't have to worry at all. Often times, wait staff will simply tell me not to eat any seafood or simply not to eat at the restaurant if I am concerned about cross contamination. But Abby helped me find seafood dishes that would be totally safe. Much appreciated. And finally, the location is picture perfect. If it had been warmer, we would have sat outside to enjoy the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The meal was worth every penny and I will be coming back in the future.

I off and on I drive by this place and one day I decided to try. The food was really yummy, vibe was great and happy hour price awesome

Here is another Peruvian restaurant right by the California coast. This place has a spectacular ocean view with delicious food. The service is excellent and fast. My family and I have been here for many occasions to celebrate birthday and anniversaries. The restaurant is clean and spacious with cute decors. Parking is nearby a bit tight during popular time as the spaces are limited. I recommend it to you!

The location of this restaurant is lovely. We went for dinner but I would imagine that during the day, it has a beautiful view of the ocean. The restaurant has a parking lot, which is a plus. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Overall, the food was good. Although I think the menu items are a bit overpriced. We ordered several items and the most standout were the Pescado a lo Macho & Puerto pasta. Service was so-so. Our waitress was either having a bad day or didn't really enjoy her job. One of the busers didn't seem trained properly. He would remove dishes from our table without even asking if we were done. Overall, it was a good first-time experience at Puerto 27, but I don't think I would make a special trip to this restaurant for future meals. There was no major wow factor with the food and with service being the way it was, it wasn't that impressive.

Puerto 27 is one of the rare establishments that really is a triple threat -- a gorgeous space with great food and plenty of seating. It's a terrific spot for a big group with a festive, sunny environment and plenty of beach-y vibes to bring home the fresh seafood aesthetic. When it comes to places like this I am all about the ceviche, and their Ceviche Trio is the way to go to truly try all of the uniquely vibrant flavors Puerto 27 has to offer. Without a doubt my favorite of the three is the Ceviche Puerto with its bold, creamy leche de Tigre base and robust flavor bursting with fresh herbs and fishy flare. The Nikkel is really well executed, and I enjoy it, but the ahi tuna with soy-ponzu has such a distinct Japanese influence it isn't really what I'm craving when getting ceviche; yet it's tasty and salty fun nonetheless. The ceviche has got to be served with a big basket of plantain chips, which are among the best I've ever had. Served freshly fried from the kitchen they come out just a touch warm, striking the perfect balance of sliced thin enough to be easy to eat yet thick enough to bring a big crunch. The empanadas, Puerto pasta, and Avocado Crabwich all passed with flying colors for the rest of my party. Something to note: their fries are the closest to In N Out that I have ever had outside of an In N Out. In N Out fries are divisive, so take that for what you will when ordering -- you may need to ask for them to be a little extra crispy if you prefer a less floppy potato like myself.

Came in for dinner and service was really quick. The food was really tasty but portions weren't that big and everything was on the pricey side. Drinks were great also and nothing beats the vibe of the patio on a sunny day. I might come back if I were celebrating a special occasion, but it's not somewhere I'd go just for dinner one day. A little expensive for my taste.

Food was sooo good!! I had ordered the Lomo Saltado, & plantains on the side. Cooked very well, & great flavors. Service was amazing!! Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but she was such a TROOPER for handling at least 15 of us!! It was a friend's bday this past Friday night, & guests just kept pouring in each time. Thanks again!! You killed it!! ;) Ambiance was beautiful. Would have been better during the day though, but they have a nice window viewing of the ocean.

We stopped for dinner after a gorgeous drive down US1 ... we were tired and sad that the fog had risen so our hopes for a gorgeous sunset were gone. But: this restaurant would have had the most amazing sunset views on a clear day!! So keep that in mind! Anyway: we started to drown our sorrows with a Pisco Sour. I am Peruvian. Their Pisco Sour was amazing!! Beware ! We wanted to taste several classics, so we ordered Anticuchos, Jalea and a Lomo Saltado... and I am happy to give everything a 5 star rating! (Except their ají amarillo sauce that was hot but not seasoned) The food was beautifully plated, hot, yummy! The anticuchos are not huge, so a great portion size for an appetizer. The Lomo Saltado is nice sized for an Entree and the Jalea has some (few) fish cubes, shrimp, scallops... everything very fresh and lightly breaded! Good stuff!! Go there and don't forget their Pisco Sour!! Enjoy!
